Dispersed
This work explores a state beyond gravity—
not the absence of matter, but release from imposed weight.
Each fragment floats independently,
no longer bound by inherited structures or expectation.
Some grow vivid, some carry traces of light,
while others quietly return to the field from which they emerged.
What appears dispersed is not broken.
It is a condition of freedom—
where presence is allowed without explanation,
and distance becomes a form of peace.
This work does not seek attention.
It breathes with the space it inhabits,
changing gently with light, time, and the viewer’s passing.

Size 183 × 152 cm (72 × 60 in)
Media and Technique Mixed media on panel. Acrylic, acrylic mediums (ultra-matte, matte), pigment, recycled sari yarns chopped into small lengths.
Layered acrylic washes, embedded textile fragments, and selective accenting create a diffuse, non-reflective field.
The work is built through repeated cycles of dispersion, attenuation, and quiet consolidation, allowing depth and distance to emerge without directional hierarchy.
